Our “Discovery”-circuits are designed to make you experience unique aspects of different regions and customs. Some of our routes follow seldom used country lanes and side roads, allowing you to take in the beautiful scenery and some historic sites.

We take paths leading us to remote villages of the ethnical minorities, to some lost temples in the jungle or to make you have a unique experience of life in a floating village.

Day 1 | Siem Reap, Siem Reab, Cambodia

Arrival at Siem Reap. Transfer to the Hotel. Visit of the city and cruising with the boat on the Western Baray for sunset. Overnight in a Hotel in Siem Reap. (D)


Day 2 | Angkor, Phnum Penh, Cambodia

Visit of the main temples of Angkor Wat on the small and great circuit. Little stroll on the bicycle across the forest of Angkor, avoiding the main road on unpaved roads to join the temples (easy biking ride). Night spent in a Hotel in Siem Reap. (B, L, D)


Day 3 | Angkor, Siem Reap, Siem Reab, Cambodia

Go on to visit the main temples. In the afternoon visit of Angkor Wat. Apsara dance show with buffet diner in the evening. Night spent at the Hotel in Siem Reap. (B, L, D)


Day 4 | Bantey Srei, Siem Reap, Siem Reab, Cambodia

Departure to visit Bantey Srei, the Citadel of the women, beautiful khmer building of the Xth century, we continue to Kbal Spean, the river of the thousand lingas. 45 min walk in the jungle to get to the site: visit of the sculptured river – bath under the waterfall – rest and lunch on the site. Early afternoon, departure for Beng Mealea, the lost temple in the jungle.

Visit of the temple, walk around the trenches of the site to discover the village of Beng Mealea. Night spent in the village with the natives. (B, L, D)


Day 5 | Tonle Sap, Phnom Penh, Phnum Penh, Cambodia

We explore on a wooden boat the Tonle Sap, the Great Lake of Cambodia and it’s many floating villages.

Every year, the water level of the great lake changes from 4 to 8 m, overflowing land and forest in this region. This unique event and according to the season you can discover the flooded forests of the Tonle Sap and penetrate on dug-out canoe into the forest to discover the bird sanctuary of the lake, while the level of the lake is low.

(Option-ask for details) and going upstream the Sangker river. Cruising on the great lake and discovering the floating village of Chong Khnea. Night spent in a floating village. (B, L, D)


Day 6 | Siem Reap, Siem Reab, Cambodia

We return to Siem Reap. Go on to the National Silk Farm outside Siem Reap.

Visit also some stone carving from Les Artisans d’Angkor. Last shopping possibility in the market. 1h massage at Frangipani, a qualified and charming SPA in Siem Reap. Night in the hotel. (B, L, D)


Day 7 | Kampong Thom, Kampong Thum, Cambodia

Departure to Kompong Thom. Visit of Sambor Prei Kuk, old capital of the 7th century. Trekking in a thinly sown forest implanted with many temples. Afternoon, departure for Kompong Cham (2 h walking in the temples). Hotel in Kampong cham (B, L, D)


Day 8 | Stung Treng, Stoeng Treng, Cambodia

Long drive to the last Cambodia town in North close to the Lao Border: Stung Treng. On the way we will visit the Rubber plantation dated of the old French Colonial period. Check in the hotel and walk along the Mekong River before the sunset. Hotel in Stung Treng. (B, L, D)


Day 9 | Stung Treng, Stoeng Treng, Cambodia

Drive to the Lao border and join our captain to start the cruise on a local boat to enter the no man’s land between Cambodia and Lao and explore the impressive waterfalls. On the way stop to a little island to watch the endangered and rare Irrawady Dolphin of the Mekong. After a lunch on the many white sand beaches have a swim then cruise down the Mekong.

Stop on the way to visit some villages and arrive to Stung Treng. (5 hours cruising/1-hour walking to watch the waterfalls). Hotel in Stung Treng. (B, L, D)


Day 10 | Kratie, Krachen, Cambodia

By local boat cruise down the Mekong River and discover some remote villages. Cross the rapid and arrive at Kampi to watch from an other spot the Irrawady Dolphin. Visit the 100 Columns Temple and the Sambor Pagoda build on a hill with a panoramic view on the Mekong’s wetlands.

Go back to our boat then cruise down to Kratie, the Old French Colonial town for an overnight. (6 hours cruising/1h walking). Hotel in Kratie (B, L, D)


Day 11 | Kratie, Krachen, Cambodia

Cross the Mekong river on the local ferry with our bicycles to reach an island. Ride bicycle to explore the villages and discover the Vietnamese Floating Village. Visit some pagoda famous for their unique architecture. Afternoon free of leisure (3 hours bicycle, easy riding). Hotel in Kratie (B, L, D)


Day 12 | Phnom Penh, Phnum Penh, Cambodia

Drive down to Phnom Penh and check in your hotel. Walk along the Mekong River. Hotel in PHN. (B, L, D)


Day 13 | Phnom Penh, Phnum Penh, Cambodia

Visit of the National Museum, Silver Pagoda and the Genocide Museum. Visit the “Russian” market for shopping opportunity. Use the Cyclo for a city tour. Cruise on the Mekong for the sunset. Hotel in PHN. (B)


Day 14 | Siem Reap, Siem Reab, Cambodia

Free time before the transfer to the airport for your international return flight. (B)

During your stay in Siem Reap, you will have, of course, the opportunity to visit the main temples of Angkor through the “small” and “big” circuits of the archaeological park: Angkor Wat, Bayon, Terraces of Lepper King and Elephants…
